Understand Pricing

Pricing is a powerful tool and it is often overlooked. Here’s the thing, if you don’t understand pricing, but are doing it anyhow, one of three things is happening. First, your getting by on luck. You’re struggling much more than needed. Last, pricing is hurting your business. None of these is ideal.

George Grombacher invited me to join him on his podcast LifeBlood to discuss what that means for your business. George’s specialty is helping CxO’s, presidents and HR leaders provide financial wellness to their employees. It was a pleasure to sit down and answer his questions.

For the Difference Making Tip, scan ahead to 17:51! Here’s the link to listen to the episode.

Here’s what we discussed:

  • The problem, why we need to pay attention to pricing
  • What areas we focus on when doing a project
  • Staying aligned with your value and purpose
  • What you know about pricing, might not be right for your business
  • And much more…

Pricing projects can be big or small, short or long. It really depends on what needs to be done and who’s involved. What’s most important is that you get started on the improving what you’re doing with the prices in your business.
