Is Your Pricing Model Killing Your Business

Your pricing model could be the thing killing your business and you don’t even know it. Most people believe pricing is simply a number they need to set. but In nearly all businesses there’s a model required behind that to arrive at what’s needed to execute and manage prices. If that’s not right or you’re not using one it just might be why your business isn’t thriving the way you planned.

I was recently a guest on the Driven Entrepreneur Podcast. Host Matt Brauning confesses that after 20 years and 6 different businesses, “I’ve always wrestled with pricing. How do you decide where you want to be?” It’s a great question and Matt is definitely not alone in this.

Matt has been an entrepreneur since 2002 and is partner and head trainer in a seminar and consulting business. He’s spoken and taught all over the world on the subjects of Leadership, Communication, and Presentation Skills. Matt captivates all types of audiences with an honest, hilarious, and exciting look into 21st century leadership. We had a great time digging into pricing.

Here’s what we discussed:

  • The default different types of business turn to
  • What they’re missing when it comes to pricing what they offer
  • Why do they not pay attention to pricing
  • Where are they getting it WRONG from the start
  • Values alignment and the role that plays

Matt stumped me with the last question. But here’s the answer…it’s priceless. That’s precisely why you should listen!
